Tall us about yourself:
I have been writing since I was in grade school. I currently work in customer service during the day, but at night I spent my time with my two children. One of my dreams is to show my sons the world. Every chance I get, you will find me with a pen in hand, yes even while planning my wedding, I am thinking of ideas for fresh stories. I am constantly envisioning something to bring to life on paper.
Why Do you write?
I write because there’s a story to tell. The story can be mine, or someone else’s, but there is always a story. Some people aren’t ready and willing to tell their story and that’s where I come in; with my pen and cape. LOL!
What genre do you write and why did you pick this genre?
There is no particular genre because I can write on any subject. Currently, my collection has more urban fiction and a children’s book.
Tell us about your book
My latest book, We were just friends, is x-rated. This book has a bunch of plots and twist, don’t get sidetracked by the sex there is significantly more to the story!
How much time do you dedicate to your author career?
When boredom strikes, Anastasia writes! I write every chance I get!
How long on average does it take you to write your books?
The timing varies. It depends on how strongly I feel about the topic.
What is the best money you have ever spent on your author career?
Creating my children’s book: Mom, I am being bullied
What is the toughest part of being an author?
Being an author is my passion, there is no tough part to me. Wait a min, I take that back, what’s difficult is when you set a deadline for yourself and the editor takes longer than expected with the completion of a book!
What is the best piece of advice you have for other authors?
Stay Consistent and just keep writing!
What is your favourite book?
I am a huge reader! I have so many favorite books, but the one that stands out the most is Chyna Black. I read that book back in middle school; I am in my late twenties and I still love the book.
